Just passing along information: NEW After School Program

1870 Farm in Chapel Hill is excited to announce that we will be starting an afterschool program at our farm beginning on Monday, February 2nd, 2026.

The program will run from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and we will provide transportation for students via our farm van, with pickup beginning at 2:55 PM.

Our afterschool program is designed to help students unwind after the school day in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment. Students will be well supervised and will have access to both indoor and outdoor activities—all free from electronics. They will have opportunities to socialize with peers, help with age-appropriate farm tasks, work on homework, read, or enjoy games such as board games and gaga ball.
