Hi friends.  

This is full of all kinds of information-- this may be an email worth saving. Good links. Lots of upcoming info. You may have enough brain space to take in some more information now that the year has had some time to get started. ​

It's already September.  Hopefully, you're starting to get back into the swing of things.  ​​Please see the calendar view for September. If you want to see what's coming up (that we know about) here is a Link to Calendar View of the next few months. It will be updated as we learn about events. 

Are you like me and need help remembering when these things are coming up? 

If so, please sign up for the CGE PTA Remind. You'll get text messages about the events happening and if you don't want them any more you can opt out. SImply add your email and you'll get time-appropriate messages about events happening (dining for dollars and others).

School Transportation information from Dr. Heath

• For information about bus routes, please use the Edulog Parent Portal.

• For students that have not yet been registered for the bus, they can be added through the Transportation Request Form.

    Chatham Grove Elementary PTA will receive 20% of fundraiser sales* during this fundraiser. Participate on Sep 23, 2025 during the scheduled fundraiser time by explaining at the register that you are supporting the fundraiser or by ordering online at alpacachicken.com or through the Alpaca Chicken mobile app and adding the $0.00 FUNDRAISER item to your cart.

Want to help out at the school? 

​​Are you interested in volunteering or being on an event committee at Chatham Grove Elementary with the PTA? We would love to have you! Volunteering opportunities range widely in time commitment and effort and is always completely optional! You can volunteer to help with events through the school year, chair or co-chair an event committee, serve on our PTA board, help out at the thrift shop, fundraise, help with teacher/staff support and much more!

Thrift Shop Volunteering 

VOLUNTEER with the Chatham PTA Thrift Shop to support the PTA, your school and classroom!

Cole Park Location: 11500 US-15 501 Hwy N, Chapel Hill, NC, United States, North Carolina

VOLUNTEER HOURS = $$$ FOR CGE! Every volunteer hour generates money for Chatham Grove. The thrift Shop money made from the previous school year is a huge part of the PTA's fundraising and its so simple to contribute! You do not need special training to volunteer. Simply come to the shop and supervisors will guide you on what to do! Some duties include - stocking items, hanging and sorting donations, or cleaning up and organizing the shop.

Another great perk - you get to end the night doing some shopping for yourself at a discounted rate!

Do you have a ten year old or older? Children 10 & up may also sign up to volunteer!

Boxtops for Education 

Thank you to everyone who has linked their Walmart account to the BoxTops app. We have 26 supporters already and have made $173.40! That is already more than we made all of last year. ​
